In conjunction with the General Consumer Code (GCC) Review Workshop, the Communications and Multimedia Consumer Forum is organising a Forum for Discussion on current Communications and Multimedia service issues such as curbing SMS spams, fair practice, internet speed delivery, industry standards for service delivery and various other issues faced by the consumer. The GCC is registered as a self-regulation guideline for all licensed Service Providers.

The workshop will assemble experts in the areas of customer service, complaint management, regulatory compliance, education, process and knowledge management to share knowledge and expertise. The discussion will be centred around updating and equipping the GCC to address current issues faced by consumers with communication and multimedia services.

Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Khalid bin Ramli, Chairman of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia  Commission will be present to launch the workshop.

We would like to invite you/a writer and photographer from your esteemed publication to the GCC REVIEW WORKSHOP FORUM. 

Current issues on communication services faced by consumers and MCMC’s Industry 6 Best Practices will be presented in the forum. The Forum discussions will provide an indication on the way forward using the Industry’s 6 Best Practices.
